To answer your question... "What do you think? I mean your a selfish, spoiled, immature brat who gets WAY more love than necisarry from Nightcloud, and to balance it out, none from Crowfeather, honestly Id be more affected from the more love than should be possible from mom instead of worrying about a dad that cares more for your half-sibling than you." Wow,the song Story of My Life fits both his, and mine very well, with the exception of the too much love from mom.
I have mixed feelings concerning Crow and Night's family.. :\
I fault Breezepelt for his own crap because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who put you through what, no one forced you to be evil. No one forced you to be in a bad mood all the time. No, that was your own decision. Could have decided to be different, but he didn't and that is his own fault.
Crow hasn't *seemed* to try hard enough to be a good mate to Night or a good father to Breeze, but in all reality, we don't know how the three of them are in their camp. We don't know how well or bad Crow actually treats them. I have more stock in him then in Nightcloud, that's for sure. But I don't hate her anymore. I just don't know.. We don't know enough about their family unit and how it works in the Windclan camp to judge properly. People judge on the brief scenes we see them in. Yeah, the mountains kinda shows that Crowfeather didn't take enough notice of Breezey, but then again, a guy is a guy. They don't always pay a whole great attention to everything. It wasn't right, but eh.
Either way, Crow and Night are faulted for how Breeze came out only because they brought him into this world, but in the end, they didn't force him into anything. They didn't purposely make him evil or bad-tempered or even so angry. They could probably be better parents, yeah, but still. Also, remember, Crow did say in TLH that he never hated Breeze but he was chose to believe it and Nightcloud encouraged him.
Yeah, I think the reason Breezepelt is so bitter is because of his parents, namely his father. Buuut at the same time, ya gotta feel bad for Crowfeather too 'cause he lost 2 loves and Nightcloud unfortunately ended up stuck with him, and he just can't bring himself to appreciate Nightcloud, probably because he's too afraid of losing her so he won't let himself fall too deeply in love, and that just isn't good for Night or Breeze
I agree with you. Crowfeather might have lost two of his loves, but he was the one who had to go off and pick up a random WindClan chick that he didn't even like. That wasn't cool on his part. TT-TT Because of that decision, he traumatized his son and partially abandoned his mate who he constantly argued with.
I lost respect for Crowfeather when he decided to mate with a random WindClan she-cat just to prove something to his clan. No wonder Nightcloud and Breezepaw were so bad-tempered. If my husband only married and had a kid with me just to prove to his family that he wasn't going to go back to his ex-girlfriend, I wouldn't be particularly pleasant of a person, either. And if I was his kid, I wouldn't be surprised if I had turned into a bratty little sh*t because of it.
Same here. He only created this family for his own selfish reasons. What he did did not benefit Nightcloud, Breezepelt, nor himself. Personally, I think things would have been fine if he remained mateless after breaking up with Leafpool. Time would have made his Clanmates forget about his former intentions of running away forever with a medicine cat. It's his fault for being such a terrible dad/mate.
